Even if you’re not dairy intolerant we all want to eat ice-cream guilt free right?!

Imagine an ice-cream that’s so healthy you can eat it for breakfast… that’s right! Dessert for breakfast… no more words needed I know just the recipe.

This recipe is super quick and easy to make on a hot summers day when your wanting something sweet or as a nice healthy dessert when friends come over. Always remember to take the skin off your bananas before freezing and break in half so they are easier to get into your food processor.

Choc Banana Nice-cream


1 frozen banana

1 tbsp cacao powder

1/8 of an avocado

1 splash of almond milk, coconut milk or cream (your choice)


  1. Put Frozen banana and all ingredients in a food processor or thermomix on high speed until a smooth consistency.
  2. Serve immediately with any desired toppings such as crushed nuts, coconut, grated dark chocolate. Enjoy.

*If consistency is too thick for your food processor add more liquid or if consistency is too runny you will need to take away liquid. The thermomix only requires a very small amount of liquid to blend this recipe.
